Untangling a bank's navigation
Legacy journeys, a navigation nobody could hold in their head, and one scalable structure to replace it.

The mess
Big banks grow like old houses. A room gets added here, a corridor there, and after enough years nobody has the full floor plan. That was the navigation I inherited.
[Add: one concrete example of a journey that was hard for customers. Keep it non-confidential]
Digging in
I didn’t start with screens. I started with analysis at many levels: the structure itself, the journeys people took through it, and the teams who owned each piece.
[Add: the research methods you used, e.g. tree tests, analytics, stakeholder interviews]
What I changed
I reworked the legacy journey flows first. Then I modernised almost the entire navigation structure into one scalable solution. One map instead of many.

How we tested it

What happened

What I learned
[Add: one lesson you’d take into your next big structural project]
